The Big Bear Horror Film Festival is pleased to announce a deal with film maker Christopher Coppola’s non-profit group P.A.H. Nation (Project Accessible Hollywood) where they will have a strong presence in the festival providing a digital media onsite contest. P.A.H. Nation believes that every human being has a story to tell and will be assisting participants to use their own video-enabled mobile phones to create a one minute video.
The topic of the video contest will be kept secret until Saturday, October 16th at 10:30 am when the contest will begin. Participants will have until 11:00 pm that evening to be as creative as possible with the topic. All videos will be scored and the winner will be announced during the Big Bear Horror Film Festival Awards ceremony on Sunday, October 17th.
The pieces will be posted at the online theater at www.pahnation.org and the public can vote as well as the pool of judges. Participation for the P.A.H contest is free to enter. “We are really excited to add this very special addition to our festival. We look forward to seeing how creative horror fans can be with such limited time,” said Michael Coulombe, Big Bear Horror Film Festival Director and Founder.
