Thommy Hutson
Born and raised in upstate New York, Thommy made the move out west, graduated from UCLA and begin writing/producing.
His career started with the Warner Brothers® animated DVD hit, Scooby-Doo in Where's My Mummy? followed by Chill Out! Scooby Doo (Warner Bros.®).
He then co-wrote two live-action adaptations -- an exciting, modern take on Rudyard Kipling’s CAPTAINS COURAGEOUS (Lion Rock productions) and a supernatural adventure based on R.E. Howard’s DARK AGNES THE SWORDWOMAN for producer Denise di Novi.
His career took a thrilling turn when he wrote and produced several genre retrospectives: Scream: The Inside Story (Bio Channel®), the award-winning Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy (Bio Channel®) and His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th (Starz/Anchor Bay®).
Thommy recently produced The Trouble With Truth, a relationship drama starring Lea Thompson and Dreamworld, a quirky, romantic dramedy.
Thommy has several projects on the horizon: producing the retrospective MORE BRAINS! A RETURN TO THE LIVING DEAD,” writing/producing UNTAMED, a terrifying, character-driven horror film, and writing/producing NEMESIS, a moody, supernatural monster piece.
