"Osology, the research and study of Oso".  George Gomez,  a.k.a  Oso , formed a Hip Hop group in 2009 that is now considered "the hottest thing out of Riverside" H$ , CEO Rep Recordz.  Born and raised in Riverside, California,  Gomez  grew up listening to legendary artists B.B King, Tupac Shakur, Elvis, the Beastie Boys and Frank Sinatra. Their sound and lyrics made more than music to Gomez; they illustrate a way of life lived and lived by.  His passion grew and began writing lyrics using his own life's trials and tribulations, successes and contentment.  His messages inspire good times and good feelings. 

In late 2007, Gomez teamed up with group member and lyricist Justin Rivara, a.k.a  J-Riva.  Rivara, also born and raised in Riverside  grew up with the same aspirations and much of the same upbringing. Contributing his edge and perspective,  Gomez and Rivara began writing, rhyming  and recording music that caught immediate attention.  In 2008, they met and joined group member Jon Izzie, an aspiring vocalist . Though born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Izzie feels native to Riverside.  Together, they  created a sound  that attracts attention and embodies the array of emotion.  It was just the beginning of a dream come reality.
 
Osology has performed a number of shows throughout the Inland Empire with great success. They have recently signed with Rep Records and contracted with the local radio stations, including the popular 99.1 KGGI.  The group continues to write their own lyrics and develop original sound, pouring themselves into the music and the audiences they perform for.  Their fan base grows at a marvel pace with no limitations. It is Osology's aspiration and Rep Recordz ambition to become a legend of their own.
 
Osology signifies a way of life.  A good life.  A Thugs life...
