Ford has been a professional award-winning actor/director/writer/producer since he was a child. He is a direct descendent of Stephen F. Austin and was raised in Texas & Oklahoma. Since making his transition from performing on the New York stage, Ford has been working behind the camera on movies & TV for 10 years in Los Angeles.

As an actor, his first gig was at 1 year old in the feature film Thirty Dangerous Seconds (1972) as "Baby in Stroller".  DAHMER VS GACY has been taking the world by storm with its hilariously sharp-witted comedic gorefest charm and thanks to the amazing cast: Ford Austin, Art La Fleur, Elissa Dowling, Bonnie Aarons, Randal Malone, Jed Rowen, Ethan Phillips, Irwin Keyes, Felissa Rose, Jerry Maren, Steven Adler and featuring Harland Williams as the Voice of God.

His directing credits include feature films: Cerebral Print: The Secret Files (2005), Cineme' Fabrique (2006), Slaughter Party (2005), Gothic Vampires From Hell (2007), The Curse of Lizzie Borden (2006), Falling Down (2010), Commute (2009) and Attitude for Destruction (2008).

He stars as an actor in the soon-to-be-released Box of Shadows (2010) with Domiziano Arcangelli (dir. Mauro Borelli), Rat Scratch Fever (2009) with Randal Malone (dir. Jeff Leroy) and Noirland (2010) with James Duval.He is currently working on a film with Tom Sizemore and Margaret O'Brien based on an Edgar Allen Poe short story named “Morella”.He has created several award-winning web series such as “The Wright Stuff”, “The Commuter Talkshow”, and “Shaving Cream Man Solutions Show”.

His list of short films includes “Tiny Dancer” which qualified in the Live Action Short category for the 2008 Academy Awards. In 2006, Ford created a TV show for Paramount Television called “Judge by Jury”. As one of 5 founding partners of WonderHowTo.com, Ford serves as VP of Original Production.

In addition to being behind the camera, Ford is developing sci-fi and horror features for himself through his independent production company, Angry Baby Monkey Pictures. Most recently, Ford Austin was named President of the Film Division at Ubroadcast Entertainment and is charge of the creation of the company's digital distribution arm in addition to the acquisition and development of all content.
