Brandon Harris

Writer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Producer, Casting Director, Actor
Brandon’s interest in filmmaking began at the age of twelve while he was attending junior high school in the place where he grew up, Granada Hills, California. He also spent some time acting, the highlight of which was a featured spot on a pilot starring Tim Curry. Unfortunately, due to family desires he was asked to pursue a ‘real job’. So after high school, he dove into computer science. Achieving a less than desirable GPA, personal growth and independence told him to choose the route his dreams laid out, to become an influential filmmaker.
Among Brandon’s accomplishments are a series of short films; most notably his Japanese language film, Portrait of a Monster. Some of his other works include a music video for the band, Stonefeather, his Franco-American fused thesis film L’amour Est., two documentaries, and multiple experimental narratives.
Brandon is currently attending college in an effort to increase his knowledge in the art of filmmaking. He has made plans to attend Chapman College in Orange County for his undergraduate and California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, CA for his Masters in Directing.
Some of the instructors to which Brandon attributes his influence are Mike Ott, who directed the indie features Analog Days and A. Effect, and actor/writer/director/editor Dave Nordstrom.
