Amit Tishler, the twenty-eight year old animator, born and raised in the city of Tel Aviv, Israel, graduated from Jerusalem's Bezalel Academy of Art & Design, with a major in animation design.

Amit worked on several of his own independent films and held down a full time position at a local animation studio as a Flash® animator, where he worked on a few shows for local television stations.  In addition, Amit helmed projects as Senior Flash® Artist for a software company and functioned as an animator and conceptual artist in the freelance sector.

Tishler is now studying in the United States, at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD), working toward his Master of Fine Arts (MFA).  He specializes in two-dimensional (2D) animation, Flash® Animation, concept art and character design.  A very ambitious young man, Amit plans to one day produce his own stories and ideas in both the live action and animation genres.

Amit recently produced an animated promotional film for the 2010 Big Bear Horror Film Festival and will be presenting the award for Outstanding Animated Film at the festival this coming fall.
