Synopsis:

The film focuses on Robert, a greasy detective sent to follow a beautiful and beguiling young woman who harbours a dark secret. Lucy Balmont is a socialite born into an elite political family, but she partakes in dangerous and debauched behaviour which has raised the ire of her kin. As a result, Robert is hired to track Lucy and do away with her, but finding himself smitten with his subject, Robert makes a vain attempt to save her with disastrous consequences.
