The Big Bear Horror Film Festival was created to provide a forum for both established and up-and-coming filmmakers, to promote the advancement and creativity of filmmaking, and to showcase their films to audiences within the horror genre. We believe that our host city, Big Bear Lake, creates an atmosphere of intimacy, thereby providing accessibility between horror celebrities, filmmakers, and fans.
Deric Slatton has created a unique and effective networking environment on Facebook (which used to be a Ning group) of horror friendly professionals and fans. Check it out when you have the chance. Thank you, Deric, for helping us all stay connected!
